STRICTLY NO MOBILE PHONE USAGE INSIDE THE PROTECTED AREA.
ABIDE BY THESE RULES, NON OBEDIENCE WILL LEAD TO LEGAL ACTION
1. Except photography, any other use of mobile phones is prohibited inside the Protected Area.
2. Always enter the Protected Area with a valid permit and valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Voter ID or School/College ID).
3. It is compulsory to take an authorised Park Guide with every tourist vehicle. Always obey the Park Guide.
4. Stay inside the vehicle. Get down only at designated places or when authorised by the Park Guide.
5. Maintain the prescribed safari speed limit of 20 km/h. Drive slowly and report speeding to Park Management.
6. Give wildlife the right of way and maintain a safe distance (20 metres wherever feasible).
7. Maintain silence and discipline during the safari. Speak softly and enjoy the sounds of the forest.
8. Carrying or using tobacco products, cigarettes, matchboxes, inflammable articles or lighting fires is prohibited inside the Protected Area.
9. Carrying or consuming alcohol and entering the Protected Area in an intoxicated condition is prohibited.
10. Carrying firearms, ammunition, explosives or other prohibited items inside the Protected Area is prohibited.
11. Carrying or using polythene and prohibited single-use plastic is not allowed. Littering is strictly prohibited. Carry your waste back and dispose of it outside the Park.
12. Carrying pets inside the Protected Area is prohibited. Do not disturb nests, dens or young animals.
13. Do not feed, tease, chase, call, shoot or provoke wild animals. Observe and photograph wildlife without disturbing it.
14. Carrying or removing forest produce, plants, wood, stones, feathers or any animal articles from the Protected Area is prohibited.
15. Do not damage trees, rocks, signs, heritage sites or any forest property.
16. Carry reusable water bottles and take all non-biodegradable waste back with you.
17. Do not carry or play transistors, tape recorders, loud music devices or blow horns. Avoid shouting and unnecessary noise.
18. Do not overtake other vehicles or violate prescribed safari routes and timings. Never pressure the driver to approach wildlife.
19. Do not apply strong-smelling perfumes or deodorants, as strong fragrances may disturb animals and attract insects.
20. Respect local people, traditions and sacred places. Ask permission before photographing people.
21. Report forest fires, injured wildlife, littering or illegal activities to the Park Guide or Forest Staff.
22. Follow the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, M.P. Wildlife (Protection) Rules, 1974 and other applicable Park regulations.
23. Read and follow all information and instructions displayed on signboards at the entry gate.
24. Follow all instructions given by Forest Staff, Park Guides and the Mahout. Wait for your turn when boarding an elephant.
25. Wear light-coloured clothes that blend with nature during the excursion.
